THE BASICS: write a Christmas/Holiday wish list. It can be any 10 wishes you'd like to have granted, no matter what they are. Possible or seemingly impossible. People look and grant the wishes if they can. It's not about "OMFG PRESENTS", it's about making someone else's holiday a little brighter by giving. Personally, I get more out of giving than receiving sometimes. It's just a good feeling to give.

STEP ONE

** Make a post in your journal. The post should contain your list of 10 holiday wishes. The wishes can be anything at all, from simple and fun ("I'd love a Snape/Hermione icon that's just for me") to medium ("I wish for _____ on DVD") to really big ("All I want for Christmas is a new car/computer/house/TV.") The important thing is, make sure these wishes are things you really, truly want.

** If you wish for real possible things, make sure you include some sort of contact info in your post, whether it's your address or just your email address where Santa (or one of his elves) could get in touch with you. In this case, you can always just note someone on dA for the sake of privacy.

** Make sure you post some version of these guidelines in your journal, so that others can join in and participate to spread the holiday joy!

Step Two:
~~ Surf this form ( [link] ) & look through the lists. I'm hopeing that I can grant at least one wish. Here's the important part.

~~ If you see a wish you can grant, & it's in your heart to do so, make someones wish come true. Sometimes someones trash is another's treasure. If you have something you don't want or don't use or even know where you can get something for free do it.

~~ You don't need to spend money on these wishes unless you want to. The point isn't to put people out it's to provide everyone a chance to be someone elses holiday elf -- to spread the joy. Gifts can be made annoymously or not -- it's your choice.

~~ there are no rules with this project, no guarantees, & no strings atached. Just ... wish & it might come true. Give & you might recieve. And you'll have the joy of knowing you made someones holiday special.

1. I need a new spoon and a mug >.< Someone stole mine here, which is very sad.

2. I also can't find my spanish book and work book. If anyone happens to have a used copy of Dos Mundos: En Breve, I would love you forever if you happened to send it to me.

3. The new dA camera bag *-*

4. EDIT: Today I just found out how badly I need a warm hat. The one warm hat I have now looks rediculous, so I'd really like a cute one that wouldn't lower me more into the depths of anti-social. However, if anyone does have the Le Stat or Edward Cullen eye contacts, those would be majorly appreciate, though not required at all.

5. Someone to draw my characters (maybe once I actually post what they look like >.< If someone wanted to do this for me, I could draw up a quick sketch for them)

6. Pretty dresses. I don't care if they're used, or anything. I wear a size 10 to a size 12, if anyone wants to get rid of some old dresses....or tights. I found out I'm in love with tight, but I never have enough. Or maybe just cute stuffs >.<

7. Some photographic inspiration. Or someone to take photos of. Or something.

8. Something to feel good about myself. It's winter, so my Seasonal Affective Disorder is kicking in, and my sun lamp fizzled out the other day. Self-esteem = hitting some new lows. Which really says something, considering me.

9. A Gelaskin [link] for my 17" laptop or my cell phone (a RAZR). IF anyone did want to do this for me, I could tell you ones I was looking, or something. But, really, I don't expect anyone to do this.


And most importantly:

10. Friends. I've been loosing contact with my old group of friends, because they're busy with college and stuff, too, and I haven't made any new friends here. To be completely honest, I think a lot of people here think I'm a freak, which makes this kinda tie in with 8. Plus, I'm shy, and am kinda awkward to talk to for the first time or so. I'd just like someone to talk to, aside from the two people I've been relying on all this time. Even if it's just online, I don't care. I need some social time ;-;
